Slow Cooker Red Lentil Dahl

400g Red Lentils
1 Can of diced tomatoes
5 Cups of water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 onion thinly sliced
Salt & Pepper


Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and mix thoroughly. Put on the lid; turn on low to cook for 4-6 hours, or high to cook for 2-3 hours. Dahl is ready to be served when all the liquid has been absorbed. Stir before serving.

Top tips:
- Dahl can be frozen and reheated. Add a cup of any frozen vegetables to this Dahl for a healthy kick
