Brand Manager

We are seeking a driven Marketer who can make a positive difference, driving communications and events in one of New Zealand’s most successful NGOs.

We need an experienced and resourceful Marketer to join the team in driving its Communication strategy; a Marketer who can both develop and refine the communications in order to drive better brand engagement and tangible results.

You are someone with a proven track record in leading and driving an established successful brand. We are not looking for NGO-specific expertise, although that is helpful.

The successful candidate will have the right balance of the below key areas:

  • Marketing experience at a senior level / 5 + years

  • Leadership and stakeholder management experience

  • Working knowledge and / or appreciation of the work we do

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Marketing, Communications and alike)

Skills and responsibilities include developing and implementing robust marketing plans; audit and refine current and future marketing activity; digital channel strategy (social, content, search, web & mobile); Integrated marketing; Email & Database marketing; Target and report management; Projects and events execution; Marketing and business acumen, People leadership, management, ability to continue enhancing a market leading brand, up to date with latest marketing trends, able to deploy market research (identify customer trends and insights), recognises marketing excellence.

This is an initial 12 month contract, with the preference to extend.
