Child Protection Policy
This Child Protection Policy has been developed to support the safety and wellbeing of all tamariki who engage with, or are connected to, our services. It outlines the standards, responsibilities, and procedures expected of all Family Success Matters whanau workers when child abuse, neglect, or risk of harm is suspected or identified.
Our policy provides clear guidance on how concerns should be recognised, recorded, and responded to, ensuring that tamariki remain at the centre of all decision-making. This includes working collaboratively with key partners, whanau, and other agencies to promote safe, supportive, and culturally responsive practice.
This policy is reviewed every three years.
It was last reviewed in March 2024.
