Colleen Fakalogotoa Chief Executive Officer Colleen is responsible for leading the FSM team and developing the strategy of the organisation. Colleen is a registered nurse with a long history in healthcare. Her dedication to helping families in the first stages of parenthood makes her uniquely qualified for the position. Prior to taking on the role of Chief Executive, Colleen was General Manager of Operations for the Royal Plunket New Zealand Society. Leainne Nathan Service Delivery Manager As Service Delivery Manager for FSM, Leainne is responsible for overseeing the Family Start programme and ensuring it is effective. Leainne brings extensive social work experience to her role. She spent 16 years with CYF, focused on facilitating change for vulnerable and at-risk families. Leainne says she is passionate about the Family Start programme because its long term home visiting intervention enables true change, not just superficial adjustment. She says that is what drives her to get up every morning.

Marsh Herewini Kaumatua Marsh has been working in the community sector since the late 90s, when he became a residential caregiver for IDEA Services in South Auckland. He also spent five years as cultural advisor for IDEA and still consults with them. Marsh is the Deputy Chair of the Mangere Maori Warden Group. Working with a group of kaumatua and kuia who are mana whenua for the area, Marsh regularly liaises with gangs. Marsh works with seven marae in the region, with the aim of drawing people from all cultures, religions and countries together to share the taonga we have in New Zealand.

Mary holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (HR Management) from Auckland University. Her interest in HR developed during an extensive career in office administration. Mary has been with FSM for a decade. She says she admires social workers, and believes in what they do. She gets satisfaction from supporting frontline staff and helping create a positive working environment.

Robyn Rummins Services Evaluator Robyn is responsible for evaluating FSM programmes, to ensure we deliver the best quality service to our clients. She was a primary school teacher for several years before completing her counsellor training.  Robyn then worked as a counsellor for a NGO supporting vulnerable and at-risk children and families. This area of work has continued to be a passion for the past 25 years. She has been involved in many different aspects of social services from programme development and managment to training, coaching and mentoring. Robyn believes all families have the right to the best possible start, which is why she loves her role at FSM.

Chamath Ekanayake Business Support Administrator Chamath is responsible for business administration at FSM and developing commercial partnerships. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Chamath emigrated to New Zealand in 2014 to be with his family. He has a background in financial analysis, business and marketing, and holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Chamath is passionate about running the organisation in the most efficient way possible, so cost-savings can be reinvested into FSM's frontline work with vulnerable families.

Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Chamath emigrated to New Zealand in 2014 to be with his family.

He has a background in financial analysis, business and marketing, and holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Chamath is passionate about running the organisation in the most efficient way possible, so cost-savings can be reinvested into FSM's frontline work with vulnerable families.
